And God said, "Let it be tsaasified."

Tsaasify. What does it mean? That has been a topic of discussion for awhile among my peers, and to be brutally honest, I really don’t know myself. It is part of my football fantasy team’s name, which tanked during the playoffs. Perhaps, it’s time to change the team name (suggestions are welcomed). Nevertheless, the sports community will know what it means to be tsaasified.

As a dedicated sports fan who’s TV is permanently tuned into ESPN, I’ve experienced the highs and lows of sports fandom, from seeing my beloved Mountaineers winning the Big East Basketball Championship to watching Bartman catching the foul ball during the NLCS, forcing me to endure the never-ending suffering that loyal Cubs fans are punished to every baseball season. More importantly, I have witnessed the impact that sports has on society. The influence of sports can be seen in all corners of life. It affects the economy, tackles moral and ethical issues, creates violent circumstances, and produces hope and joy.

So, this blog's goal is simple. I’m going to talk about sports in all lights and voice my opinion on current events, such as the upcoming NFC and AFC Championships games, and off the field topics, like the infamous college realignment.  I hope you enjoy the conversations and ideas that will be posted.

Brace yourself! You’ll about to be tsaasified.
